Howard has spent a bomb renovating the place, including (wait for it) a 1,000 square foot closet for his wife Beth. The house is around 19,000 square feet, has 5 bedrooms, 12.5 baths, and (of course) a pool. Why wouldn’t everyone just move to Florida and build a New York there? I don’t get it.” Well, there's the heat, the humidity, and the odd hurricane or two. He has said: “New York is the center of the world. He just can't understand why people put up with it. He's decided he's had enough of the New York winters. Maybe he's thinking about retiring to sunny Florida? He's even talked about moving his show down there. Stern likes the view of the Atlantic Ocean from his Hamptons house so much that in 2013 he bought a $52 million oceanfront Palm Beach, Florida house. Palm Beach, Florida - $52 Million Mansion Rumor has it that Mooshu is the adult leadership of the family. Daddy Stern is responsible for Mooshu's daily treat, lockdown, or no lockdown. Even from the back, you would recognize the famous Stern "mop". When not broadcasting, he is spending lockdown inside with Beth and their resident cat, Mooshu Peaches Stern. Since lockdown, Stern has been broadcasting from his "bunker", believed to be his Penthouse. And even more importantly, he's secured 3 coveted parking spaces in the building's basement parking garage. We're talking around 8,000 square feet of luxury. He's taken 5 different units over the two floors and combined them into one mega-Penthouse. The guy keeps builders and contractors busy. Howard originally owned the two units on the top floor, but found its 4,200 square feet too cramped! So, he bought the whole floor below him. The larger units sell for about $4 million. The centrally located 67th Street tower is one of the priciest tickets in town. Howard owns the 53rd and 54th floors of the Millennium Tower in New York City. Get ready to be totally jealous of the guy and his lifestyle. Looks like they will ultimately settle in sunny Florida. Currently in lockdown in New York, the Sterns look forward to getting out of the big city to enjoy some quality time in the Hamptons or in Palm Beach. There's the $21 million mega-penthouse in New York City, a $16 million "castle" in the Hamptons, and a palatial $52 million mansion in Palm Beach, Florida. Howard and Beth currently own three homes. And she's got a wardrobe that needs 1,000 square feet closet space. And, as we will see, she's got a real flair for interior design. She's funny, smart, very much her own person, and (reportedly) is just about the only person who can keep Howard in line. Think of her as the trophy wife, the "too-hot-for-him" wife with a difference.
